Permanent makeup in Orem, Utah
Nib is one artist in one room. Monte draws the shape on you, you approve it, and only then does any pigment go in.

How it works
Nothing moves on until you have seen it and said yes.
We talk through the shape and color you want and what you've had done before. No pigment is chosen yet.
I draw the shape on your face with a pencil. You look in the mirror, and we change it until it's yours.
Pigment goes in with a single-use needle, in light passes. You can ask me to stop at any point.
We look at how the color settled and adjust where it needs it.
Services
Brows, lips and the visits around them, each with how long it takes.
We talk, look at your skin and go through your history. Nothing is drawn and no pigment is placed.
Each procedure starts with the design: I draw, you approve.
A soft, shaded fill, close to the look of brow powder. Suits clients who want fullness without individual hairs.
Fine strokes drawn to follow your own hair direction. Suits brows with gaps and a natural arch.
Hair strokes at the front, soft shading through the tail. A defined look that still reads as brows.
A soft wash of color that evens out shade and shape. We test the color on your lip before any pigment goes in.
A defined edge in a color that matches your own, for clients who want shape more than color.
A look at how the color settled, and an adjustment where it needs one.
A new layer of color on older work, mine or someone else's, once it has softened.
Prices are set by the work and shown on the booking page, beside each service.
Clients
“I asked a hundred questions before booking, and Monte answered every one without hurrying me. I saw the drawing before anything else happened.”
“Nobody tells you about the follow-up visit. He explained it at the consultation, so nothing about it surprised me.”
“A quiet room with one person in it. He showed me the color on my lip before it went in, and we picked it together.”

Your artist

Monte learned to work a needle in a tattoo shop. He came to permanent makeup to slow down: draw the shape on you first, then work in light passes.
Questions
Everyone feels it differently. I put a numbing product on first, and you can ask me to stop at any point.
Color softens over the years, at a pace that depends on your skin, the sun and your aftercare. A color refresh brings it back, and it's on the menu.
Yes. I draw it on you with a pencil, you look in the mirror, and I don't start until you say it's right.
Four to eight weeks after the procedure, we look at how the color settled and adjust where it needs it. I'll book it with you before you leave.
Bring photos and book a consultation. I'll tell you plainly whether I can improve it or whether it's better left alone.
