The rules, before you book
They are the same for every client.
Booking and deposits
Start with a consultation, booked on the booking page. When we have talked, you book the procedure, and a deposit holds the time and goes toward the service. The booking page shows the amount.
Canceling and running late
Give 72 hours' notice to move a procedure, and 24 hours for a consultation or follow-up. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the visit may be shortened or moved.
If you miss an appointment
If you miss a procedure without telling me, the deposit stays with the studio, and a new one is needed to rebook. If you miss a consultation, call and we will find another time.
Age and guests
Nib is for clients 18 and over, and I will ask to see ID at the first visit. Please come alone: the room is small and the area has to stay clean, so guests wait outside.
Patch tests and allergies
I offer a patch test before a first procedure, and I suggest one if you have reacted to pigment, dye or numbing cream before. Tell me about any allergy when you book. Reactions can happen with any pigment, which is why I ask.
If you're not happy
Tell me within a few days, and we will look at it together. Adjusting at the follow-up visit is part of the process, and if something needs more than that, we will make it right.
Tipping
Tips are never expected. If you would like to leave one, it goes straight to Monte.
Before your visit
Come five minutes early, with nothing on your brows or lips. Skip alcohol and extra caffeine the day before, and eat something first.
When to ask your doctor first
Check with your doctor first if you are pregnant or nursing, take blood thinners or other medicines that affect the skin, or have a skin or health condition near the area. Tell me at the consultation, and I will say plainly whether to book or wait.
